Elephant in the Room staff are able to provide:

  • Complete a play and social skills assessment for preschool and school aged children
  • Provide reports and recommendations for therapy based on child’s current play, social skills and behaviour
  • Provide programming and training to carers

Childlike play is creative, imaginative and almost always active. Many children who have a disability or experience significant trauma in their early years lose their ability to engage in childlike play.

As play is the best way to learn and develop social skills, the person’s social skills may be poor and underdeveloped as well.
